SAA DIRECTOR HANDS OVER ICASA 2025 REPORT TO GHANA AIDS COMMISSION(GAC)
The ICASA Director and Society for AIDS in Africa (SAA) Coordinator, Mr. Luc Armand H. Bodea, paid a courtesy visit to the Ghana AIDS Commission (GAC) on Tuesday, 11th August 2026, where he formally handed over the official ICASA 2025 Audit Report, and ICASA 2025 Technical Report. The visit honoured Ghana’s role as host of the conference and marked a significant milestone as the Society for AIDS in Africa (SAA) reflects on the impact and legacy of ICASA 2025 in Accra.

During the visit, SAA expressed its deep appreciation to the Republic of Ghana, the President of Ghana, the Ministry of Health, the Ghana AIDS Commission, and all stakeholders whose dedication and good work ensured the success of the conference, despite the challenging global economic environment.
Receiving the report on behalf of the Commission, the GAC representative Dr. Fred Nana Poku (Director of Technical Services, GAC) welcomed the reports and commended the collaborative spirit that made ICASA 2025 a success. He noted that hosting the conference had been a privilege for Ghana, providing a platform to bring together the international community in strengthening health systems both locally and across the continent. Both the Ghana AIDS Commission and SAA reaffirmed their commitment to continued partnership in areas of shared interest.
The Commission also extended its congratulations to the Republic of Benin as it prepares to host ICASA 2027.
