ICASA Director pays a courtesy call to the UNAIDS Country office in Zimbabwe
During a recent official visit to Zimbabwe, ICASA Director, Mr. Luc Armand Bodea, paid a courtesy call to UNAIDS. The UNAIDS Country Representative for Zimbabwe, Ms. Sophia Mukasa Monico, facilitated the meeting. In attendance were; WHO, UNICEF and UNFPA.
After briefing the UN system on the progress report towards the planning of ICASA 2023, Mr. Luc Armand Bodea appreciated the immeasurable support of the UN system over the years to maximize the ICASA platform to respond to HIV/AIDS, TB, and Malaria challenges in our setting. The focal person of the UNAIDS in Zimbabwe for the ICASA Programme, Dr. Jane Kalweo, emphasized that they were willing and ready to make the ICASA 2023 community programme a reality where the community could share knowledge and best practices.
Madam Dube, from the ICASA 2023 Local Secretariat and the Director of Communication, NAC, Zimbabwe, was part of the team that visited the UNAIDS office.
